When it rains, it pours | Calgary Stampede Storm Photos

When I left my house this afternoon to run some errands, I saw a storm was about to come through the city. I drove home to grab my camera, just in case. I headed to Inglewood driving to scout some cool shooting locations. When I got near downtown I saw the storm was getting closer and closer. I headed up to Scotsman’s Hill to get a good vantage point of the rodeo and the stampede. They were about to get poured on! Right after I took these shots, it came down hard. I should have had my 12-24mm wide angle, oh well.

UPDATE: I sent the first photo below to Paul Dunphy at Global TV and they put my photo on the air!
