Last weekend we had the pleasure of covering Bekke & Mike’s wedding at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. The Banff Springs hotel is one of a kind here in Alberta. It is nestled right in the Rockies. Unfortunately for us, it was a blistery winter’s day in the mountains. We did manage to get outside and got some cool wedding photos done, but we definitely made use of the hotel’s beauty inside. We had such a fun day creating awesome wedding photos. Bekke and Mike were total troopers and I made them late for their reception with my “one more shot” slogan. There’s an idea, that could totally be my slogan. Any couple who I have shot has definitely heard me say this over and over. It’s never one more shot! I can’t wait to get started on the album design. It will be one of a kind! Congrats you guys. I hope your wedding was everything you dreamed it would be. I am very grateful to have met you both and to be a part of your special day.

This wedding was more special to me than any other wedding I had the pleasure to capture. Duane is one of my closest friends. As a matter fact, he stood beside me as my best man when I married Michelle. We go pretty far back and we never talked about getting married one day. And now it was his turn. Duane and Kim decided to get married in February at Two Jake Lake near Canmore, AB. What a pristine setting! We lucked out as it was -30 a few days before the wedding. Now it was only a balmy -10 instead. We ran around Canmore afterwards to find some cool shooting locations, and that we did.
